Description

Product Brief

JANCD-XTU01B is a teaching pendant interface transfer board for Yaskawa XRC Motoman robot controllers. It establishes stable signal transmission channel between main CPU unit and handheld teach pendant for robot programming and real-time operation.

Model Definition

JANCD: Standard circuit board prefix for Yaskawa robot control cabinets
XTU: Teach pendant signal transfer interface series for XRC robot system
01: First generation hardware platform for teach communication
B: Standard revised version with optimized anti-interference circuit

Technical Parameters

Signal power supply DC24V, low power consumption design. Equipped with differential signal transmission circuit to resist workshop electromagnetic interference. Operating temperature 0–55℃, storage temperature -20–70℃, humidity 5%–95%RH non-condensing, IP10 protection grade, VME slot plug-in layout inside cabinet.

Interface and Communication Configuration

Internal VME backplane connector communicates with XCP main CPU board via system bus. Dedicated external cable port connects handheld teach pendant cable, transmitting operation commands, coordinate data and screen display signals bidirectionally. Onboard LED indicators show power supply and teach link communication status in real time.

Core Functions

Convert and transmit bidirectional data between robot main control unit and teach pendant. Upload manual jog motion signals, program editing instructions and parameter setting commands from pendant to CPU. Feed back robot position, alarm codes and system running data to the teach screen. Detect cable disconnection and communication loss automatically and trigger system alarm prompts.

Application Scenarios

Exclusively matched with Yaskawa XRC robot control cabinets, compatible with Motoman UP, HP and EA series multi-axis manipulators. Used in automatic welding, material handling, component assembly and polishing robotic stations as replacement spare part for teach signal transmission failure.

Operation and Maintenance Instructions

Cut off cabinet main power and wait 10 minutes for capacitor discharge before plugging or removing the board. Keep control cabinet ventilated and dry to prevent welding fume, oil mist and metal dust covering circuit board. Regularly inspect backplane socket and teach cable connector for looseness or oxidation. Blow surface dust with dry compressed air every three months. Replace the board immediately if teach pendant constant communication interruption occurs.
