Description
Product Brief
JANCD-XIO02, also marked X1002, is a general digital I/O expansion board exclusively for Yaskawa Motoman XRC robot controllers. It transmits switching signals between robot main CPU and external sensors, valves and fixtures to expand peripheral signal channels stably.
Model Definition
JANCD: Universal circuit board code for Yaskawa robot cabinetsXIO: External general digital input/output board dedicated to XRC robot system02: Second-generation I/O board hardware iteration; X1002 is the alternative part number of this board
Technical Parameters
Signal circuit powered by DC24V, equipped with 16 digital input points and 16 relay-type digital output points. Built-in surge suppression and EMI filtering circuits. Operating temperature 0–55℃, storage temperature -20–70℃, humidity 5%–95%RH without condensation, IP10 protection grade, VME slot plug-in installation inside control cabinet.
Interface and Communication Configuration
Internal VME backplane connector realizes high-speed bus data interaction with JANCD-XCP01 series main CPU board. External multi-pin terminal block connects limit switches, proximity sensors, electromagnetic valves, indicator lamps and manual operation buttons. Independent LED status lights correspond to each channel to display real-time input/output signal state and wiring faults.
Core Functions
Collect digital input signals from external safety interlocks, workpiece detection sensors and operation command switches. Output relay switching signals to control clamps, lubrication pumps, alarm lamps and auxiliary actuators. Real-time self-diagnosis of open circuit and short circuit of signal lines, upload fault alarm data to the main control board. Expand standard I/O capacity of XRC robot system to meet multi-peripheral linkage requirements.
Application Scenarios
Matching all Yaskawa XRC series robot control cabinets, compatible with Motoman UP, HP, EA series multi-axis industrial robots. Widely applied in automated production stations including automobile welding, workpiece handling, parts assembly, grinding and automatic spraying as spare expansion I/O hardware.
Operation and Maintenance Instructions
Cut off the total power supply of robot cabinet and wait at least 10 minutes for internal capacitor full discharge before disassembly or wiring. Keep the cabinet dry and ventilated to avoid welding smoke, oil mist and metal dust attaching to circuit traces. Regularly inspect backplane sockets and external signal terminals for looseness and oxidation. Clean surface dust with dry compressed air every three months. Replace the board promptly if frequent channel signal loss or relay output failure occurs.
