Description
Product Brief
JANCD-XBB01 is the original I/O backplane baseboard for Yaskawa XRC Motoman robot controllers. It serves as the central signal carrier connecting CPU board, functional daughter boards and external digital peripherals to realize centralized distribution of robot switch signals.
Model Definition
JANCD: Universal circuit board prefix for Yaskawa robot controllersXBB: I/O signal backplane series customized for XRC robot control system01: First-generation basic hardware version of XRC I/O baseboard
Technical Parameters
DC24V supply for signal circuits with low power loss. Integrated surge and electromagnetic interference suppression circuits. Operating temperature 0–55℃, storage temperature -20–70℃, humidity 5%–95%RH without condensation, IP10 protection grade, standard VME cabinet plug-in layout.
Interface and Communication Configuration
Internal VME bus connectors exchange high-speed data with XCP main CPU board, welding interface boards and servo boards. External multi-channel terminal blocks access limit sensors, safety interlocks, clamps and start-stop switches. Independent LED indicators display real-time signal status and channel fault prompts.
Core Functions
Buffer and distribute all internal and external digital I/O signals of the robot cabinet. Transmit safety lock signals, external operation commands and equipment state feedback between main control and on-site actuators. Detect open-circuit and short-circuit faults of signal lines in real time and feed back alarm codes to the main CPU. Support basic peripheral signal expansion for single-station robot working conditions.
Application Scenarios
Specially matched with early Yaskawa XRC robot control cabinets, compatible with Motoman UP, HP series multi-axis industrial robots. Used in automatic welding, material handling, small parts assembly and light coating robotic production lines as original spare replacement hardware.
Operation and Maintenance Instructions
Disconnect the cabinet main power and wait 10 minutes for capacitor discharge before plugging or wiring the board. Keep the control cabinet ventilated and dry to avoid welding fume, oil mist and metal debris covering circuit traces. Regularly check backplane sockets and external terminals for looseness and oxidation. Clean surface dust with dry compressed air every three months. Replace the board immediately if frequent signal disconnection or bus communication alarms persist.
