YASKAWA JANCD-XBB02 dedicated I/O base backplane board

JANCD-XBB02 is the dedicated I/O base backplane board for Yaskawa Motoman XRC robot controllers. It acts as the signal transfer carrier between the main CPU board, expansion signal boards and external peripheral equipment to centralize digital I/O signal distribution for robotic systems.

Description

Product Brief

JANCD-XBB02 is the dedicated I/O base backplane board for Yaskawa Motoman XRC robot controllers. It acts as the signal transfer carrier between the main CPU board, expansion signal boards and external peripheral equipment to centralize digital I/O signal distribution for robotic systems.

Model Definition

JANCD: General circuit board prefix for Yaskawa robot control cabinets
XBB: I/O signal backplane base board exclusively for XRC robot control system
02: Second-generation optimized hardware iteration with expanded signal channel compatibility

Technical Parameters

Signal circuit powered by DC24V with low power consumption. Built-in EMI filtering and surge suppression circuits to resist industrial electromagnetic interference. Operating temperature 0–40℃, storage temperature -20–70℃, ambient humidity 5%–80%RH without condensation, cabinet plug-in installation, protection grade IP10, standard VME backplane slot layout.

Interface and Communication Configuration

Multi-channel internal backplane connectors realize high-speed bus data exchange with XCP main CPU board, welding interface boards and servo control boards. External multi-pin terminal blocks reserve abundant digital input/output wiring ports for sensors, fixture actuators and safety switches. Onboard LED indicator lights correspond to each signal channel to display real-time input/output working status and open/short circuit faults.

Core Functions

Concentrally distribute and buffer all digital switching signals inside the XRC robot cabinet. Transmit safety interlock signals, external start/reset commands and equipment status feedback signals between the main control unit and peripheral automation devices. Real-time self-check for wiring open circuit, short circuit and signal abnormal faults, and upload alarm information to the main CPU board. Support expansion of multi-group external auxiliary equipment signals to meet multi-station robot linkage demands.

Application Scenarios

Exclusively matched with Yaskawa XRC series Motoman robot control cabinets, compatible with UP, HP, EA and other multi-axis industrial robot models. Widely applied in automated production lines including automobile welding, workpiece handling, component assembly, metal grinding and automatic spraying robotic stations.

Operation and Maintenance Instructions

Cut off the robot cabinet main power and wait at least 10 minutes for full discharge of internal capacitors before disassembly or wiring. Maintain the control cabinet dry and ventilated to prevent welding smoke, oil mist and metal dust from adhering to circuit traces. Regularly inspect backplane connectors and external signal terminals for looseness or oxidation. Blow away surface dust with dry compressed air every three months. Replace the board promptly if continuous channel signal loss or bus communication alarm occurs.
