WOODWARD 9907-838

WOODWARD 9907-838 rack mounted marine LSM load sharing module for vessel diesel generator parallel load balance & governor speed bias control system

Description

WOODWARD 9907-838 WOODWARD 9907-838 is enclosure mounted marine generator load sharing module, designed for Woodward marine genset parallel power management system, widely fitted onboard cargo vessels, power ships and offshore platforms for multi-generator active load balancing and speed bias regulation during parallel operation. This marine load sharing module operates on 24V DC supply, receives voltage and current signals from each generator unit, calculates real power percentage and generates speed reference offset signal to governor controller, evenly distributes load among paralleled ship generators to prevent overload and load imbalance. The marine load sharing module integrates three-phase voltage sensing circuit, watchdog monitoring, surge protection and load share bus interface, supports isochronous load balancing, fault record storage and breaker interlock logic for marine main switchboard generator parallel control. Its load balancing & hardware diagnostics function continuously monitors 24V DC power supply, PT signal wiring and load share bus integrity, detects signal loss, bus communication failure and hardware abnormality, transmits load sharing module fault alerts and generator load status to vessel AMS alarm console. The load balancing & hardware diagnostics ensures stable equal load distribution for marine paralleled generator power system. It enables reliable marine 9907-838 module operation under heavy vessel vibration and salt mist marine environments.

This Woodward 9907-838 load sharing module delivers stable marine generator load sharing module performance installed inside vessel generator control cabinet. The load balancing & hardware diagnostics adopts marine-grade metal enclosure with EMC shielding against electromagnetic interference and mechanical shock. Marine electrical technicians rely on marine 9907-838 module operation to calibrate load sharing gain, verify power balance and test parallel mode switching during routine maintenance. It adopts wall or enclosure mounting design for straightforward spare replacement and minimal marine genset parallel control system downtime. Internal circuit boards use conformal coating to protect electronic components against salt mist, condensation and temperature fluctuation. It works cooperatively with generator governor controller, voltage/current transducers and ship integrated alarm monitoring system. It is widely used as load sharing spare hardware for Woodward marine multi-generator parallel power management control system maintenance and retrofit projects.
