Bentley 3300/16-05-01-00-00-00-00 Product Description
I. Product Introduction
The Bentley 3300/16-05-01-00-00-00-00 is an XY/GAP dual vibration monitor of the 3300 series from Bently Nevada (now part of Baker Hughes). It provides continuous monitoring of both radial vibration and shaft position (gap) for critical industrial rotating machinery. It is an upgraded replacement model for the 3300/15 dual radial vibration monitor, with an added radial position gap alarm function. It is widely used in state monitoring and protection of steam turbines, compressors, fans, pumps, etc., enabling the early identification of faults such as imbalance, misalignment, and abnormal bearing gap, thus avoiding catastrophic failure of the equipment.
II. Basic Information
Manufacturer: Bently Nevada (now part of Baker Hughes)
Product Series: 3300 Series
Product Model: 3300/16-05-01-00-00-00-00
Product Type: Dual-channel vibration monitoring module (XY/GAP type)
Core Functions: Dual-channel radial vibration monitoring, average shaft position (gap) monitoring, over-limit alarm and danger protection
Compatible Sensors: Compatible with 3300 XL 8mm series and similar probes / preamplifier systems
Installation Method: Standard rack-mounted installation, compatible with 3300 system cabinets
Weight: Approximately 180g
Size: 100mm × 76mm × 30mm
III. Functions and Positioning
Dual-channel independent monitoring: Integrated with two independent channels, capable of simultaneously monitoring the X and Y directions of radial vibration of the same equipment, or the vibration parameters of two different equipment. The channels do not interfere with each other, and the monitoring data is independently processed and alarmed.
Vibration and gap dual-parameter monitoring: In addition to the radial vibration amplitude, the average shaft and bearing gap values are simultaneously calculated and monitored, compensating for the deficiency of traditional monitors that only measure vibration, and comprehensively reflecting the operating status of the shaft system.
分级报警保护: Equipped with "Alert" and "Danger" two-level alarms, which can be customized by panel or software; when an alarm occurs, the corresponding LED indicator lights up, and the relay outputs are triggered, enabling linkage to stop or alarm systems.
Channel bypass function: Supports single-channel or dual-channel bypass operations. During equipment maintenance, sensor calibration, or channel failure, the alarm can be temporarily shielded, without affecting the normal monitoring of the other channel, ensuring the continuous operation of the system.
Signal buffering output: Provides buffered sensor signal output, which can be connected to oscilloscopes, data acquisition instruments, etc., for on-site debugging, signal calibration, or in-depth fault analysis.
Fault self-diagnosis: Built-in OK status monitoring circuit, real-time detecting sensor open circuit, short circuit, signal abnormality, and module faults. When a fault occurs, the OK indicator light goes out, indicating that maintenance personnel should check.

Six, Applicable Equipment Fields
Electric Power Industry: Steam turbines, generators, boiler induced draft / supply fans
Petrochemical Industry: Centrifugal compressors, screw compressors, high-temperature pumps, catalytic cracking units
Metallurgical Industry: Rolling mills, blast furnace blowers, dust removal fans
Water Treatment: Large-scale circulating pumps, sewage pumps
Others: High-speed rotating machinery, critical power equipment condition monitoring and protection
Seven, Installation and Maintenance Tips
Installation: Standard 19-inch rack installation, module spacing ≥ 20mm, ensure heat dissipation; distinguish between channels A/B and positive/negative power terminals during wiring to avoid reverse connection.
Calibration: Regularly (suggested every 6 months) calibrate the channels in conjunction with the 3300 XL probe, lock parameters after calibration to prevent accidental operation.
Maintenance: Keep the panel clean, avoid dust and oil from entering the modules; regularly check the wiring terminals to prevent loosening; when there is a fault, prioritize troubleshooting the sensors and wiring, then test the module itself.
Note: Low-frequency mode (1 to 600 Hz) is not suitable for rapid start-stop equipment, otherwise it may cause monitoring data distortion.
