JANCD-CU04
JANCD-CU04 is an interface terminal and auxiliary control board manufactured by Yaskawa Electric. It is specially designed for Motoman XRC robot controllers and YASNAC LX series CNC systems. This legacy board has been discontinued by the original manufacturer. Only refurbished, used and new surplus units are available for equipment maintenance and replacement.
Description
General Description
This product is a compact multilayer industrial printed circuit board. It functions as a signal conversion and conditioning module, responsible for external I/O signal transfer, power supply monitoring and auxiliary logic control. It provides electrical isolation and signal matching between the main CPU boards such as JANCD-CP01 and CP01B and external peripherals including sensors, operation panels, relays and contactors. The board is coated with protective conformal coating and equipped with surge suppression and anti-vibration components, which enables stable performance under harsh industrial conditions with dust, moisture and continuous vibration.

Compatibility Notes
JANCD-CU04 is exclusively developed for XRC robot platforms and LX series CNC systems. It cannot be used interchangeably with CU01, CU03 or other CU series boards for different controller versions. Before replacement, please confirm the matching of the part number, hardware revision and the connected main CPU board and peripheral modules. This model is only applied to maintenance of existing old equipment, and not recommended for new system construction.
Installation and Maintenance
Install the board inside a clean, dry and well-ventilated control cabinet, and keep it away from corrosive gas, heavy dust and liquid. Insert the board firmly into the designated rack slot and make sure all wiring terminals and board connectors are fully locked and connected. Check that the input 24 V DC power supply stays within the rated range before powering on the system. Conduct regular inspections on the circuit board, connectors and wiring terminals to remove dust and check for oxidation or loose contact. Do not modify the circuit or connect loads beyond the rated specification. Use only original or fully compatible replacement parts to guarantee system safety and operational stability.
