SAIA-BURGESS PCD2.M150 PCD2 Series CPU Controller Module

Overview The SAIA-BURGESS PCD2.M150 is the PCD2 series main CPU module for Saia Burgess PCD distributed PLC systems. It executes user control programs, handles bus communication with PCD I/O modules and HMI, widely stocked as spare for building automation, HVAC and machine control systems.

Features This PCD2.M150 CPU supports integrated program memory, onboard RS485 port and PCD bus interface. The PCD2.M150 has diagnostic LEDs for power, run, error and bus status, watchdog function for safe operation, and supports Saia S-Bus protocol. It is compatible with PCD2 series digital/analog expansion modules, and can be programmed via Saia PG5 software.

Principle The CPU runs the control logic downloaded from PG5, collects signals from expansion I/O modules, sends output commands, and communicates status data to HMI or upper monitoring system. The watchdog circuit triggers safe stop when program execution fails.
