Description
NOR CONTROL NN-832 SERIES ANALOG INPUT ADAPTOR PCB SET NN-832.1, NN-832.9, NN-832.2, NN-832.16, NN-832.17, 801.1
NOR CONTROL NN-832 series are rack plug-in marine analogue input adaptor printed circuit boards, designed for Norcontrol / Kongsberg marine alarm and monitoring automation system, widely fitted onboard cargo vessels, offshore DP vessels and heavy-lift ships for analogue field signal conditioning and conversion. This PCB group includes NN-832.1, NN-832.9, NN-832.2, NN-832.16, NN-832.17 analogue adaptor cards plus 801.1 base interface PCB, collecting 4‑20mA, voltage, RTD and thermocouple feedback signals from pressure, temperature and vibration transmitters, scaling and conditioning analogue signals before sending data to the main automation controller.
The marine analogue PCB suite integrates multi-channel galvanic isolated signal evaluation circuits, surge protection, watchdog monitoring and front panel status LED indicators, supports channel range configuration, fault memory storage and high/low analogue alarm voting interlock functions complying with marine classification society machinery monitoring requirements. Its analogue signal acquisition & hardware diagnostics function continuously monitors 24V DC power supply, field instrument wiring and backplane bus integrity, detects analogue signal drift, cable break and hardware component failure, transmits analogue module fault alerts and vessel machinery network status to vessel AMS alarm console. The analogue signal acquisition & hardware diagnostics ensures reliable process variable collection for Norcontrol marine vessel alarm monitoring system. It enables reliable marine NN-832 series analogue PCB set operation under heavy vessel vibration and salt mist marine environments.
This Norcontrol NN-832 PCB group delivers stable marine process signal conditioning performance plugged into the automation rack. The analogue signal acquisition & hardware diagnostics adopts marine-grade PCB substrate with EMC shielding against electromagnetic interference and mechanical shock. Marine automation technicians rely on these NN-832 cards operation to calibrate each analogue channel, verify signal scaling range and inspect backplane communication during routine maintenance. It adopts standard rack edge gold-finger plug-in connector design for straightforward spare card replacement and minimal marine alarm monitoring system downtime. Internal circuit boards use conformal coating to protect electronic components against salt mist, condensation and temperature fluctuation. It works cooperatively with Norcontrol main automation unit, field transmitters and ship integrated alarm monitoring system. It is widely used as analogue input spare hardware for Norcontrol marine vessel machinery alarm and monitoring control system maintenance and retrofit projects.
